About
Martha is an awestruck and mischievous individual with an inescapable desire to work with bodies. Her ancestors made homes in Sweden, Germany, Utah, Appalachia, and the outer Hebrides, among other places. Working in many different trades, some ancestors found their way to medicine, opening a path for Martha to do the same.
Building on an innate and instinctive connection to bodies through touch, Martha has trained since 2015 in somatics, anatomy, wildnerness emergency medicine, embodied ancestral inquiry, and group facilitation, all of which inform her offerings. They regularly experience severe pain, and the support they receive from community and loved ones inspires them to care deeply for others moving through intensity.
Martha currently lives in Western Massachusetts on Nipmuc and Pocumtuc land. She speaks English and Mandarin. 她会说简单的中文。
